Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
Expert assessment and treatment for pain and injury, from an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist with more than 30 years of experience.
“Listen”
The most important thing I do is listen. A detailed clinical history tells me more than any single test. It is how we uncover what is really driving your pain or restriction, and how it is affecting your life.
Though I see the full range of musculoskeletal (MSK) issues, I have a special interest in:
- Shoulder problems
- Spinal issues
- Sports and dance injuries
- Ehlers-Danlos and hypermobility disorders
- Men's health
Whatever you are dealing with, it is rarely an isolated issue, so I look at the whole picture. A correct diagnosis leads us to the treatment your body actually needs, combining hands-on therapy with evidence-based exercise, and, where helpful, a clear plan to prevent it returning.

In a session
What treatment usually involves.
Hands-on therapy
Manual therapy to restore movement and reduce pain, chosen to suit your diagnosis.
Exercise prescription
Evidence-based exercise you can do at home or in the gym, taught properly so you can do it safely.
A plan to prevent it
Where it helps, a clear plan to stop the problem coming back, including strength work.
If it is appropriate, I may refer you to your GP or a specialist consultant for a second opinion or further assessment.
Years of back problems and various physios, without anyone ever really working out what was wrong. Tony identified it straight away, and I was soon back in the gym and training again.
The right diagnosis first
Let us find out what is actually going on.
An initial assessment is 45 to 60 minutes, long enough to take a proper history and examine you thoroughly.
