Men's Health Physiotherapy

Specialist physiotherapy for chronic pelvic pain, from a physiotherapist with specialist training and genuine personal understanding.

Men's health is a specialist area of physiotherapy that seeks to address pelvic pain and its impact on a man's wellbeing.

When urological investigations find no sign of infection, many men are diagnosed with Chronic Pelvic Pain (CPP), also known as non-bacterial chronic prostatitis. Because diagnosis is often delayed, and because many men are not able to access physiotherapy for months or even years, it can become a difficult condition to manage, with several overlapping issues.

Why this matters to me

In 2018 I experienced CPP myself. That led me to seek out and train with leading experts in men's health physiotherapy. Eighteen months later, having successfully managed my own symptoms, I began seeing men's health patients in 2021.

Physiotherapy can help identify the neuromusculoskeletal factors contributing to your symptoms. It does take commitment, a daily prescribed programme and, where relevant, some lifestyle changes, but it can make a real difference. And you will be working with someone who genuinely understands.
